I think this is a great book, but it didn't strike me as a particularly outstanding non-fiction offering. The illustrations (as always) are great.

The best word to describe this collection of interesting animal facts will certainly be used by the students: cool. Every page has a new “Who knew?” about another animal. This book would make a great supplement to a science animals unit in an elementary classroom. Younger students and older students alike would like the content, but younger students would need it read to them.
