This is an amazing book filled with details about frogs. The information about the frogs are easy for kids to read and understand and there is information about many different frogs in this book. The photographs of the frogs are also amazing and beautiful and provides the reader with a visual of what they have just read. This is a very good book.

I agree, this was great book and the photograpy IS amazing! I think it would appeal to a wide age range of kids, and I especially like the dual-sized text. A reader can flip through quickly, admire the photographs, read the larger type, and still get a flavor of what the book is about; or, conversely, a reader can spend a little more time and read more of the smaller text and find out even more. Very nicely done.

FROGS is a great non-fiction for elementary students. This book is very kid-friendly and offers great information about frogs. The photography in the book adds an amazing compliment to the facts.

I also love the facts that are in contrast colors. This encourages kids to read them and gets them hooked to want to know more.

I can think of ten 3rd grade boys who would LOVE to get their hands on this book right now.

Awesome! The pictures really draw you in and the text is well written to be informative enough without going over your head. Boys will really love this book and quite a few girls I'm sure. What a great book to use for a Pond thematic unit.

Excellent book! The author's photographs enhanced the story along with the colors he used for the text. There were pictures that amazed, intrigued, and even at times made me say "Eew."

I learned many things I did not know about frogs before reading this book. It would be a great resource for any teacher's classroom library. Students would love to look through the pictures and read all about frogs.

I can tell the author/photographer truly loves frogs. There are so many interesting and fun facts about frogs. Who new that frogs were this exciting. The author coordinates the color of the pages along with the color of the frogs. At the end of the book Bishop describes how he could get those amazing, beautiful, and sometimes funny photographs of the frogs.
Students of any age would love this book. Even the young students who can only look at the pictures and identify a few words. The photos themselves are so rich.
